 Client Information: Inflection Point may collect and receive information from and about our clients when they seek or are provided with services from the company. We ask that clients and prospective clients only provide us the minimum amount of personal information necessary for Inflection Point to perform its consulting services. You are responsible for obtaining any approvals, authorizations, consents, permissions, and permits that are required in connection with your providing Inflection Point with any information (including, but not limited to, any information relating to a third party). 

 Marketing and Event Communications: When you sign-up for or subscribe to our marketing communications, publications, or events, we may collect Personal Information about you which may include your name, email address, and postal address. We use this information to send you updates that may be relevant to you regarding developments, company-related events, activities, and news. We process this Personal Information based on legitimate interests, or where we obtain your affirmative consent, on the basis of that consent.

Please note we may still contact you if necessary to provide important notifications regarding certain Services.

 Online Collection: We may also collect information from you when you provide it to us via the Services. 

 Support Information: You may provide information to us via a support request submitted through the Services. We will use this information to assist you with your support request and may maintain this information to assist you or other users with support requests. Please do not submit any information to us via a support submission, including confidential or sensitive information that you do not wish for Inflection Point or our service providers to have access to or use in the future. We process your information in this instance based on legitimate interests to provide the support requested.

 Information We Collect Automatically:

We use automatic data collection and analytics technologies to collect aggregate and user-specific information about your equipment, domain name, patterns of use, communication data, and the resources that you access and use on the Services, including your IP address, unique identifiers, log files, browsing and navigation patterns. This information is used to improve our Services.

Cookies, Web Beacons, Links, And Other Tracking Technologies: Inflection Point may keep track of how you use and interact with the Services through the use of cookies, web beacons, links, and other tracking technologies. We do this to help analyze the use of and improve the Services. Through these technologies, we may automatically collect information about your use of the Services and other online activities, including our email correspondences, third-party services, client applications, and certain online activities after you leave the Services. Link information is generally only analyzed on an aggregate basis. Some Services may not function properly if you disable cookies. Such data may include analytics information, sites visited before visiting the Services, browser type, operating system, and tracking of your interactions with our content and emails.

 Analytics Information: We use data analytics to ensure site functionality and improve the Services. We use mobile analytics software to allow us to understand the functionality of the Services on your mobile device. This software may record information such as how often you use the Services, what happens within the Services, aggregated usage, performance data, app errors and debugging information, and where the Services were downloaded from. We do not link the information we store within the analytics software to any Personal Information that you submit within the mobile application.  We collect Analytics Information either directly or through third parties acting on our behalf. 

 Publicly Available Information: Inflection Point may collect information about you or your business from publicly available sources, such as LinkedIn or from credit bureaus.

 Information Use

Your Personal Information may be used by Inflection Point for any legitimate business purpose consistent with applicable laws and regulations, including, but not limited to, operating the Services, conducting business operations, and responding to requests for information.  

Inflection Point may use the Personal Information of any Services user under the following circumstances:

  • when we need to perform a contract we are about to or have entered into with you;

  • when we need to do so to comply with a legal obligation;

  • when it is necessary for our legitimate interests (or those of a third party) and your interests and fundamental rights do not override those interests;

  • when it is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims;

  • if you have given your consent.

  • carrying out business intake procedures such as to carry out conflict and other business intake searches,

  • providing consulting or SaaS services to our clients, and

 Within Inflection Point: We may share and process information internally within Inflection Point and with our subsidiaries and affiliates.  Service Providers and Third-Party Vendors: Inflection Point works with various organizations and individuals to help provide the Services to you ("Service Providers" or “Third Party Vendors”), such as website and data hosting companies and companies providing analytics information. Inflection Point needs to engage such Service Providers or Third-Party Vendors to help us operate, provide, and market the Services. These entities may use your information only to perform these tasks on our behalf. Information we share with our Service Providers or Third-Party Vendors may include both information you provide to us and information we collect about you, including Personal Information and information from data collection tools like cookies, web beacons, and log files. 

Inflection Point takes reasonable steps to ensure that our Service Providers and Third-Party Vendors are obligated to reasonably protect your information on Inflection Point’s behalf. If Inflection Point becomes aware that a Service Provider or Third Party Vendor is using or disclosing information improperly, we will take commercially reasonable steps to end or correct such improper use or disclosure.

Business Transactions: Inflection Point may purchase other businesses or their assets, sell our business assets, or be involved in a bankruptcy, merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets (a “Business Transaction”). Your information, including Personal Information, may be among assets sold or transferred as part of a Business Transaction.
